so-soOn the Come Up.Received as an ARC from #HCC (thanks Cory!). I LOVED THUG.Still get goosebumps when I think about it or recommend to customers. Not so with Angie‘s latest book. I got bogged down in the first person narrative and I didn‘t feel the characters like I did in THUG.I expected to like this book.Sad I didn‘t.Love listening to Angie Thomas interviews. She is an important author for this generation. Don‘t let my review stop you from reading.
