Winnie the Pooh is a classic and it instantly came to mind when thinking about maps.

https://www.outsideonline.com/2245121/women-writing-about-wild-25-essential-book...

Kathryn Aalto, who wrote this rather gorgeous book about Winnie-the-Pooh's Hundred Acre Wood, has put together a list of 25 women who write about the wild. What's not to love?

(The bad photo's mine, not the book's!)

tomes4gnomes How did I miss this book?! I made a literary pilgrimage to Ashdown Forest in my early 20s and played poohsticks at Poohsticks Bridge. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Stacked! 2y
RachelO @TK421 I'm not sure if he was posing for the camera, or giving me A Look! 2y
RachelO @tomes4gnomes How fab! I've never been to Ashdown and would love to - but meantime I'm still choosing to believe the wood was by where I grew up! (There was a wood donated to the Woodland Trust by C.R.Milne. What are you supposed to think?!). She gave a talk at our local library- the book's full of photos, and looks v readable! 2y
Cathythoughts That photo is stunning 👍✨👍 2y
