I chose this book because I needed a bingo spot for #ISpyBingoNov. A story based on true events. How the Danes helped save over 7000 jews by smuggling them to Sweden. It's a short novella but worth the read. It also started my #ISpyBingoJan @TheAromaofBooks #Welcome2026Readathon #20For26 #NewYearsReadathon @Bookwormjillk

I don't know too many kids who do not do this: walk in their mothers' or father's shoes. This girl, though, decided to hide the shoes her mother's uses to go to work because she is left behind at Nana, and she wants to be home with her mom. #ISpyBingoNov @TheAromaofBooks

I needed a bingo spot for #ISpyBingoNov, and the cover is so pretty, but it's a graphic novel. I hate graphic novels. they're hard to read, I still can't even tell you what happened. Give me words to read. Thank goodness it's short cause I would have bailed. @TheAromaofBooks #Read2025 @DieAReader
