One of the best life lessons for kids is to learn how to count money. When I have a kid come to my booth with a handful of change, I help them count it and teach them how much they need to buy what they want.They usually just drop all they have with such enthusiasm until they realize they don't have enough. Oh dear, I say. Parents don't realize how bad a vendor can feel when little eyes get sad.Then I give in and give it for whatever they have.

I chose this book because I needed a bingo spot for #ISpyBingoNov. A story based on true events. How the Danes helped save over 7000 jews by smuggling them to Sweden. It's a short novella but worth the read. It also started my #ISpyBingoJan @TheAromaofBooks #Welcome2026Readathon #20For26 #NewYearsReadathon @Bookwormjillk

This was an extremely boring book. It repeated and repeated just to add to the length of the story. I skipped most of it because of the repetition. I did finish the #ISpyBingoJan @TheAromaofBooks Woo-hoo!
