This is a decent adventure story, prequel to Ash. My only complaint is that the author reads her own book. She's okay but a professional reading this story would be amazing. So we now know who Thor is and I love the vulnerability in the character when not in Thor form. It's by far my favourite thing about this series, she's still kick ass but as a human she's facing something a God never will. Also main war arc is kicking off good. Pick this up sometime ##kickassheroines

I started off this series a wee bit concerned about it just being a gimic of Thor's now a girl. I have no problem with things being gender or race swapped as long as it's not tokenism and effort is put into the story. Luckily this is well written and we have the reveal of who is worthy to hold the hammer over odinson. #kickassheroines

So written by the same woman who bought us ms marvel and set during the secret wars. This focuses on the ladies and is a standalone and I personally loved it. So much fun to be had here, great artwork and nico gets a big role! A lot of fun can be had trying to work out who's who as most ladies from marvel get at least small lookin in the artwork. #kickassheroines #readwomen #weneeddiversebooks

Day 2 of #seasonsreadings2016: #kickassheroines. The Widow of Gettysburg and The Spy of Richmond are as KA as they come. Based on actual women and actual events, I highly recommend these phenomenal books from Jocelyn Green!

So this is a pick but I did um and ah over that decision, it's not as good as squirrel girl or ms marvel being the main reasons. The tone is slightly odd for the character but good points are...strong female friendships, interesting side characters who are diverse and a female team for this comic. It's done enough to keep me reading for now #readwomen #weneeddiversebooks #kickassheroines

So after seeing that @StoredFeminism had reviewed this I had to go buy it and read it as soon as. I can't say it anybetter than her but this is a great little series, dark but with beautiful artwork #kickassheroines #readwomen #weneeddiversebooks
