pickWhile I would never in a million years consider climbing Mount Everest I am fascinated by those who have so Krakauer‘s firsthand account of his ascent of Everest and the disastrous climb of 1996 was really absorbing. Perhaps not the best book to read on my ski vacation in New Hampshire however! Here‘s a few pictures from the Black Swan Inn in Tilton, NH which is a cozy B&B with delicious breakfast! Suet624 I read the magazine article that the author wrote immediately following the event. It was raw and filled with details that he was unable to put in the book because of lawsuits. I thought he did a good job with the book but it wasn‘t quite as impactful as the article. 5y

Suet624 I‘m. It sure you‘ll be able to find it. I‘ve tried. It was in Outside Magazine and I think they were required to pull the article due to lawsuits, primarily from the woman who was on the climb. 5y
