I started reading “Maybe In Another Life” by Taylor Jenkins Reid. So far it‘s not quite what I was hoping for. The romance between the protagonist & her love interest seems juvenile for characters who are supposed to be nearing their 30s. It lacks an emotional complexity that I was expecting. The dialogue seems more fitting for teens, however there was a surprise in the beginning that I did not see coming, so there‘s that! 📚 #maybeinanotherlife
7️⃣ I loved Daisy Jones and Evelyn Hugo, both by TJR, so far this one doesn‘t feel as dramatic as Evelyn Hugo but I do care about the main character and I am interested to see how things turn out. 1-21-21: My 9th finished book of 2021! When Hannah decides to move back to LA she isn‘t sure where her life is headed. Out one night with her best friend she has to decide if she wants to go home with her ex-boyfriend or not. This story tells us what would happen in each of those realities.
