pickI've tagged my favourite book of the month; it's an audiobook I've been recommending to all my friends because it made me feel better about humanity in general.
My total number of books is higher than usual, but 17 of them are picture books, which don't take long, even when I read each one several times. There was a readathon on booktube in April to encourage adults to read picture books (#PictureThis2022) and I went all out!
CuriousG I have this one on my shelf waiting to be read. I can't wait for work to calm down and give me some extra reading time, because I desperately need to feel better about human nature! 2y
KathyR I'm reading "Bloodlands" by Timothy Snyder right now. In it he details how Hitler and Stalin, between 1932 and 1945, killed 14 million people, none of whom died directly as a result of war. ? I think I may need to read this book as an antidote. 2y
