For #marchintoreading this is a #Recentnon-fiction read. It was tough, funny revelatory read and I highly recommend it for anyone who is trying to understand the realities of being black and female in this culture.

Three recently read and one currently reading nonfiction. This is more nonfiction than I typically read. I kind of surprised myself. #recentnon-fictionread #marchintoreading

#judgedbyitscover #recentnon-fictionread #reallifereading. I couldn't resist buying this book when I saw this lovely cover. I've just started it and I'm already enchanted. There's a romance with Paris as the backdrop and recipes that look "attemptable"and tasty ?

DebinHawaii This was a great foodie book! 📚💜 7y

Dragon Thanks @Paula3 I just started and I've already read a tabouleh recipe with grapefruit juice that even I could probably make. Oh the individual molten chocolate cakes sound scrumptious. 7y
DebinHawaii @Dragon We read it several years ago for my online foodie bookclub and I made the Cauliflower & Tahini Soup from it. It was really good. 👍 7y
raelaschoenherr I loved this book! 7y
Dragon Thanks @DebinHawaii sounds yummy, can't wait to get to that recipe. Your soups always look tasty 😋 it's still cold here so soup hits the spot . 7y
Dragon Thanks @raelaschoenherr I've just started it but so far I'm loving it. I woke up early this am to catch up on Litsy and read more Lunch in Paris 7y
raelaschoenherr I think you'll enjoy it! I never made any of these recipes but your post is reminding me I should :) I was on a cooking memoir kick a few years back and also liked 7y
