I‘ve just started the book and I‘m 6 chapters in, I‘m worried this is going to be a bail for me. I find the main character, Nora, unbearable. Her personality is that of a bag of rocks. I‘m going to continue reading, hopefully I‘m not supposed to like the protagonist. 😅
4 Stars • I have not found a Freida McFadden book that I didn‘t like. I‘ve already read quite a few but now I am on a “Freida Frenzy“ and am determined to finish the rest of her catalog.
The Locked Door follows Nora Davis, a surgeon hiding her past as the daughter of a serial killer. When her patients are murdered in her father‘s signature style, Nora becomes a suspect. ⬇️

1. Alexandra. Idk I've just always liked it.
2. Our current dog is Dexter for Dexter Morgan 🔪
Our previous animals were named for F1 drivers (Max, Kimi) and TV characters (Asher- How to Get Away with Murder, Summer- Rick & Morty)
3. I like it when a nickname is made from a play on their name. Ex: Sin for Vincent, Rocky for Rockwell, Bash for Sebastian.

I wild ending to this series, which I very much enjoyed!
Cassie finally meets the Masters… and a ghost.
Driven by curiosity, she searches for her birth mother, only to discover that her mother was a serial killer's victim—and she herself is a by product of that tragedy. Her life unravels as she becomes entangled in an FBI investigation while grappling with personal turmoil. The chilling developments that unfold are full of suspense. Narrated in the second person, the chapters are written as psychological sessions, adding depth to the narrative. 🎧
