Pickpick

For being “the most prolific serial killer in American history,” I feel like I knew nothing about the Green River killer until I read this book. What‘s especially interesting about this is that, when the original book was written, they still hadn‘t solved the case - the parts of the book that talk about who he ended up being were added over a decade later. #liveandlearn #booked2020 prompt - & book 7 of the year so far 😱

I wish this had been written by someone who was less of a hot mess. I don‘t care about your daddy issues or your lady issues or your alcohol issues. Pick a lane and stick to it, mister! It‘s quite unfortunate because the case is ripe for a well written exhumation of the evidence. Sadly this is not it.

vivastory But, I'm confused if you liked it 🤔 3d
Lovesbooks87 I got an ARC of this and bailed on it! 3d

TiredLibrarian Too bad because the original crime story sounds interesting. Maybe it's in nerd of a better treatment by someone else. 3d

Not even a few pages in, and I've chucked the book across the room and swore it off! The title was more than misleading. It went into extreme description of animal abuse performed by the main character, Pluto. As an animal lover, this unsettled me and damn near broke my heart. More than anything, I wanted to invoke violence towards Pluto!

Feeling very nervous about this little psychological thriller. I hope the title isn't misleading!

I‘m a bit obsessed with the show so I had to read the book! It‘s really good, but also sad that there are so many serial killers out there that you can make a living by studying them. I think I‘m going to read his next book too.

I am obsessed with this book! I don‘t have a nightstand with light next to my bed. So I reasoned with my self the “need” to be able to read whenever and wherever I want. So I found on kindle unlimited and then downloaded the Audio. Not to mention while on amazon I ordered TWO more books that will have to get in line of upcoming books, the hillside stranglers and true crime stories 1. #bookobsessed #15booksafterthisone

@FantasyChick how dare you suggest so many amazing series for #newyearwhodis so that all of my reading is derailed?! JK LOVED THIS. SO GOOD. High school Hannah is OBSESSED.

FantasyChick Hahaha my master plan of screwing with your planned reads is working 😈😈 So happy you liked this! I didn't think I would but it was just twisty enough to get me hooked 7d

I've fallen slightly behind on my #weeklyforecast predictions, but I hope to get back into the swing of things and be a more active participant since I so enjoy @Cinfhen's brilliant sharing idea ?

Over the next couple of days I hope to:
? Make more progress with my two audiobooks
? Read 10 poems in "Ink Knows No Borders"; make progress in the Wiking "Hygge" book; finish "Best Friends"; and begin "Landline" for #ReadWithMrBook

Chab256 I remember loving Landline!! 1w
Librariana @Chab256 - Yay! It's been on my TBR far too long! Rainbow Rowell is one of my favorite authors and I tend to hoard her books... save them for a rainy day, I guess? Either that or it's a fear of not having that special, first-time-reading feeling 🤷‍♀️ 1w
Centique That‘s such a pretty graphic you‘ve made! 😍 1w
Librariana Thank you, @Centique! 😊 I always have fun editing images on the PicCollage app. I make my own backgrounds and then build little collages around them. 1w
