None of This Is True" is my second crime thriller podcast, and it's a gripping listen. The plot is strong, though sometimes overloaded with too many elements. Josie one of the main character, is detached from reality and unaware of her own truth. The family portrayed is deeply disturbing—none of them seem sane. It‘s not about guessing the killer, and the story ends without justice or clear resolution, but it‘s still worth it.??

It‘s a classic whodunnit mystery that kept me hooked from start to finish. I loved the protagonist, Lucy—fearless and strong, she never cared what others thought, even when the world was against her. Her grandmother‘s character was my favorite—bubbly, full of energy, and so full of life. I can only hope to be that vibrant in my 80s. Hannah is haunted by her friend April‘s death. The man convicted has died, but new evidence suggests he may have been innocent. Now Hannah is forced to ask: if he didn‘t kill April, then who did? 🎧

Once you have mathematical certainty there is nothing left to do or to understand. There will be nothing left but to bottle up your five senses and plunge into contemplation. While if you stick to consciousness, even though the same result is attained, you can at least flog yourself at times, and that will, at any rate, liven you up. Reactionary as it is, corporal punishment is better than nothing.

I started this series a while ago and have only read the first book. While it doesn't have any major twists, it's a good read with two interconnected storylines. A lawyer and his wife are murdered, prompting his brother, Major Grant, to return and care for their children. Alongside this, there's a subplot about a girl who was bullied and took her own life. The two narratives are skillfully intertwined.

I think this is the least thrilling book I've read by Freida McFadden. At times, I found myself skipping chapters because nothing significant was happening. While the overall plot is interesting—especially the twist where the captors turn out to be the saviors—the subplots felt weak and failed to hold my attention. The pacing dragged in places, and the suspense that usually defines McFadden‘s work just wasn‘t there for me in this one. 🎧

Last week I read two books by Freida McFadden: The Tenant and The Crash. The Tenant was a decent thriller but quite predictable. Blake had it all—a VP title, a fiancée, and a new home—until he lost his job. To pay the bills, they rent out a room, and that‘s when the suspense begins. The plot had potential, but it didn‘t really surprise me. A good read

This book is on my TBR for a long time. Finally, I reached it. It's a mystery and revenge story with lots of twists and confusion. As a reader, you get confused many times. A writer whose wife went missing can't write anymore. After one year, his agent, out of pity, offers him a secluded place to write — a cabin on an island with only 25 people. No Wi-Fi, no mobile, even the payphone is dead. I really enjoyed it. 🎧
