Well written... I just didn't think a whole lot happened throughout the book.

I recommend this book 100% to anyone who has, or thinks they may have, endo. I got a lot out of reading this book. Being that I have a lot of medical PTSD and trauma, reading it also made me cry - a lot. This book is invaluable to the endo community, and I'm so glad I found it. I borrowed it from the library, and I'll be buying it for my own collection right away.

Brutal. Triggering. But so worth the read. It's heartbreakingly disgusting what one man chose to do to his daughter. She has so much strength. Definitely worth the read, if you can handle it.

This book felt to me like a giant stream of consciousness. It went from one time period to another, one subject to another... many of which had nothing to do with his sister or how he felt about his sisters murder (how many times did we need to hear about this beautiful woman or that he doesn't kiss and tell while he's doing just that?). I was really looking forward to reading this memoir, and sadly was left disappointed.

I reread this book after my father died... at a later time in my life. I got so much more out of it and understood it so much more than I did the first time I read it. It just means a lot more to me this time around.

Having my own chronic pain and chronic health issues made me interested in this book. After reading it, all I have to say is... what a brave, resilient man. He could've come out of his ordeal a bitter person, but instead he came out a better person.

I am loving this series so much! I think I liked this one better than the first one, which I didn't think possible. Can't wait for the final book!

Parts of this book hurt my heart. Parts of this book made me so very angry. What I do know is that Ma-Nee is a very strong, resilient person that I have a lot of respect for. Even though this book is full of trigger warnings, I believe it's a very important read that all of us can learn from.
