Good twisty thriller that distracted me from doing homework while on vacation. Without ever knowing, Sara is the product of a serial killers rape 35 years prior and now he has found her and wants to get to know his daughter. A bit of a predictable ending but in all good story, quick read!

First time reading Chevy Stevens and I am so glad to find another great writer to add to my list of great writing authors

I love that when I read her books, I know exactly what I am going to get. They‘re reliable, interesting, fun, kind of twisty thrillers with some family and relationship drama thrown in. AND DOGS! This book was just that and and while it‘s not my favorite of hers, it was still an enjoyable read. Good for a cold snowy day or a vacation/plane read.

Expectedly great book from this author.

This was my first Chevy Stevens & I see her appeal. Fast paced thriller with a good plot: adopted woman nervously seeks birth parents 30+ years after, only to find she was the product of a brutal rape by a notorious serial killer. While I wanted to slap the MC several times for her back & forth decisions, it was gripping and left me wondering how I'd react in some situations. I figured out the plot twist quickly but it was an enjoyable read.

I #blameitonlitsy that I'm suddenly reading thrillers. This is my first Chevy Stevens and another recent #DollarTree jackpot!

A quick but interesting read. I have read the last four of her books in the past two weeks. They are engrossing and entertaining. This storyline had a horrific premise and it just got worse! A good read.
