Finished tonight for #DiverseCozy The first book in a foodie cozy series, I liked it overall. The MC is a Cuban-American anthropologist & cook who has just moved back to a wealthy suburb in Miami with her husband & young son. When 2 murders happen & her best friend is the chief suspect, Miriam is on the case. I liked the MC but would have preferred it if she communicated better with her ⬇️
DebinHawaii … husband & others so there wouldn‘t be as must angst. Some tasty-looking recipes in back, I will likely try the second book coming out in November. (And this got an #ARC off my TBR stack too so yay!) 🥭 💛🥭 1y
