Help! I'm trying to tidy and this is not tidied! It just looks like more clutter 😫. Marie Kondo says to get rid of unread books and that is just blasphemy! But I can't live with this either because I can't see them! So I'm asking you to #Showmeyourbookspace be it cart, shelves, crates, how do you do it so you don't lose your mind and would make Marie proud?! Tag me ! @Kayla.Adriena

Susanita I have two spreadsheets, one for fiction and one for nonfiction, with a column for where it lives (which bookcase). Read books are highlighted. It took a while to put together, but it‘s easy to maintain going forward. 5y

CouronneDhiver Haha! I‘ve always been a minimalist... I own around 60 books and they are all contained on one shelf in my sitting room. If I‘m not 100% serious about re-reading a book, I give it away (LFL). 5y
ErickaS_Flyleafunfurled We IKEA-hacked our living room with Billy bookcases and cubes and did a whole wall of “built-ins”. Only one minor plumbing disaster as the result of our incompetence. Also, look at book spine towers on Amazon. A little pricey (around $70) but it stores books vertically! I love them! 5y

SleepyDragon I don't need Marie's approval, so I just have a couple boxes by my bed and cluttered bookshelves that need organizing. (My toddlers rearranged them and I haven't had the time to fix it.) As for your cart, most pics I've seen have books lined up with spines up so you can read them. Hope that helps a little. 5y
Susanita I keep some after finishing and let others go. They stay on the list until I actually offload them, in case I change my mind! 5y
madamereadsalot1 Mine is an absolute mess! I don't have enough shelves for all the books I own, so I have them overflowing. A lot of my books are still packed in boxes! 5y
