This is such a well written book and extremely informative. This is a perfect book to use when teaching children about freedom and the symbols of the United States of America.
This is one of the best books to teach children about the history of the Statue of Liberty. This book is filled of wonderful facts but also focuses on how Lady Liberty appears to be walking resembling the journey people have taken to get to America. Love the story of Lady Liberty and the light she shares as welcoming others into our country.
Outstanding children‘s book full of facts about the Statue of Liberty and bright colorful art. Egges focuses on an important detail about the statue‘s right foot, lifting as if to step forward, and why that is important. Beautiful and moving https://cannonballread.com/2023/07/her-right-foot-elcicco/
“Did you know that the interior of the statue was designed by a Frenchman by the name of Eiffel? The same Eiffel who designed the Eiffel Tower”
This book was a great read to teach children the history of the Statue of Liberty.
