I just finished part two of Monster, She Wrote. The last story was on Edith Wharton. I would recommend Roman Fever by Wharton. It‘s seemingly a benign story, but the ending is superb.

Chapters 11 thru 16 - the story has picked up the pace a bit. It‘s pretty engaging. In chapter 12 they call the girls at the dancing school brats. 😂

jb72 @ElizaMarie I‘m really enjoying it too. I sadly didn‘t get any reading in yesterday as I was way to stressed out, but got an extra chapter in today. I‘m still four chapters behind but I‘m hoping to finish this weekend. 5y

@jb72 I was also super surprised how easy it was to read this one. I thought it would be much more difficult it being a classic, translation etc. But I was wrong and am so glad I was!!! 5y
