These past 2 days i have been in the mood to just read and it feels great. Reading for hours and into the night is soothing my tired body and soul right now to the point where i am very antisocial at the moment 😆

Re-reading this series I read when I was younger.. such a heart wrenching story through so many hardships, but definitely a good read!
pickI've read many books focusing and educating us (quite rightly) on the traumas, restrictions and hostilities towards females under the Taliban rule. But what if you are an educated man that wants to hear his wife's laughter? Would love to walk beside her on the streets? Wants to see her face under the glow of the sun?
Here we see two marriages trying to hold onto humanity in a place where pleasure is a sin.
This book packs a punch.
pickThis was a super read, really emotive and impacting... such a good choice for young readers- encourages them to see beyond their own lives and circumstances and helps them appreciate some of our basic civil liberties that are denied to others in certain parts of the world. 💔🌍
pickThis has been in my TBR for ages. It was a powerful portrait of strength and courage and also a reminder of how much I have taken for granted in my life.
