Just read Fangirl and loved it - so much so I went on to read ‘Carry On‘ (the book the character is supposed to be writing) and it‘s sequel ‘Wayward Son‘. Fangirl was the best for me of the bunch and I would totally recommend it to anyone who loves Harry Potter, Supernatural, books about books and writing, teen coming of age stories and romance. #teamBaz

Wayward Son | Rainbow Rowell

I‘m enjoying some peaceful reading time inside this morning because it is chilly out there! The book is just okay. I devour all of Rainbow Rowell‘s books because I love her characters, but they almost invariably end up being just okay for me. I‘m #TeamBaz for sure. 😆

saresmoore @ReadingEnvy Not at all. I don‘t remember much of the fanfic details from Fangirl, but I think Rowell gives them a life of their own, anyway. It‘s fun to read Carry On as its own entity with a cheeky (if obvious) nod to the chosen one & fantasy tropes. 5y
