pickI love Edgar Allan Poe, and since this book was inspired by some of his work, I had to read it. This did not let me down, it's so dark and eerie, with gothic themes and such a weird atmosphere through it all, it captured me.
The cover is beautiful, and even though you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, I feel that it counts.

pickIn this book Simpson undertakes to track down every single member (40+) of Britain's most cultish rock group and along the way paints a vivid picture of the band and its unforgettable leader, the sadly recently departed Mark E Smith. One for Fall obsessives only probably but I enjoyed it hugely.
