#TheGreatCourses is offering this class for a fair price: The Art of Reading.

I think we‘re all an expert on this 😉

There‘s absolutely zero chance that all of these cute little curlicues will survive the shipping journey...so here‘s a photo of my wrapping in its prime.

Excellent. Love history. Learned somethings I didn‘t know before. Recommended.

My Favorite Universe | Neil deGrasse Tyson

”When I track the orbits of asteroids, comets, and planets, each one a pirouetting dancer in a cosmic ballet, choreographed by the forces of gravity, I see beyond the plight of humans. I see a universe ever-expanding, with its galaxies embedded within the ever-stretching four-dimensional fabric of space and time. However big our world is, our hearts, our minds, our outsize atlases, the universe is even bigger.” #choreograph #QuotsyApr20

In 2017, I tried #TheGreatCourses on audible. I liked this class so much I‘m afraid nothing will compare. #Scandal #NewYwarNewYou. @Eggs

Finished this lecture series I've been listening to since August! Barnhart is an excellent lecturer, & I learned so much! I wish I had free time to sit at my laptop while listening and image search everything he's talking about, but alas, I've squeezed this in while running, cooking, etc. Excellent, thorough intro to pre-European contact civilizations of North America, with some particularly interesting lectures on his specialty, archaeoastronomy.

Caterina Here's a finish for #NFNov! @Clwojick @rsteve388 2y
Emilymdxn Sounds absolutely fascinating! I must read this 2y

Despite plenty of English Lit, my degree in Business didn‘t prepare me for the #writinglife. This instructional audiobook (with a PDF) is a good start to filling in the blanks. Mazzeo is an author and Ph.D professor. She organizes and delivers the content well. I used her exercises to improve my current project. Another great addition to my #selfdirectedwritingcourse.

kgriffith This is quite timely, as I‘m shifting to a writing focus myself and looking to build a practice. Thanks for the rec! 2y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @kgriffith Glad to help and good for you! I also just found some courses at Udemy that looked good. The old Ebates site (now Rakuten) has great coupons. Plus, of course a million good books! 😘 2y
