TheBookDream @lemonlime799 I did like it! (Finished if yesterday.) I'm curious though since this term is relatively recent to me: Do you know when "trash" became a fandomy term? I'd never heard it until Kingsman came out. This could be something I'd missed by not being a denizen of Tumblr... 7y

queerbookreader @TheBookDream It definitely started on tumblr, easily 5-7 years ago. I wasn't on that website at the time though so that's just a guess from what else I saw online around then. I should make a book about the development of written language online/texting 7y

TheBookDream @lemonlime799 Oh wow that long ago? I feel ancient because I never really caught onto the blogging sites after LiveJournal semi-collapsed (although there are many dusty caves and a few active communities roaming it's halls). It's funny how fanfiction specific some language and turns of phrase are. I once used "What it says on the tin" out in the real world and no one had a clue what I was talking about. (edited) 7y
