This was a really interesting beginning to the series. The story builds steadily to an interesting but slightly open ending, setting up for the next book. The writing is good and the world building is steady. The characters are great and I especially liked Daiman. A good beginning and look forward to more. #VoraciousReaders 4* 3rd book finished for #JubilantJuly.

Book not on database . Aww what a cute story. This was such a sweet story and yes it's easy to tell how it ends but sometimes that's just what we need. The story itself is well written and touches on some hard issues associated with fostering and adoption. The characters are easily likeable especially Adam. Plus I loved Tyler too. The plot is steady and builds to a perfect ending. A cute, light read. #VoraciousReaders 4*

This was an interesting read. It's quite short for a murder mystery but doesnt come across as rushed. The plot is simple and effective. The story builds to a good ending and left me wanting to read more about them. The murderer wasnt too hard to figure out but was still a good read especially if you want a nice short story. First book finished for #24B4Monday #VoraciousReaders 4*

This was a really interesting story. I loved learning about those times in Australia. The plot was steady and then suddenly very dramatic. I loved that Alexandra is a strong lead and her relationship with Bendict was very cute. The ending was perfect and tied the story to a fitting close. An interesting mystery though I figured some of it out. Still well written and fitting with the times. #VoraciousReaders 4*

This was an interesting idea and it delivered well on the premise. It was a little lacking in the details of the blood warriors. I would have liked to know more about them. Although short this book packs a lot in, it's pretty sad at times too. The ending for me was not what I wanted but it did fit with the story and made sense. I liked the friendship that began to develop between her and Tellus. A good read. #VoraciousReaders 3*

This is an interesting dark story with a very clever twist at the end. I did wonder if it might be something like it was. The story is told by Richard and Sophie before she died giving an interesting insight into everything. I liked the changing point of view. Sophie was instantly too good to be true but you do understand her better by the end. 3* #VoraciousReaders

This is a funny light look at her life and is interspersed with drink recipes. I loved the short chapters on different aspects of her life and the drinks were interesting too. The story is simple and fun. A nice light read and part of a series but you don't need to read the others. I am however off to find the next ones. Much of the parenting stuff was so relatable. #VoraciousReaders

This was a really good story. The romance was cute and the murder mystery added depth to the story. It took me a while to figure out who the killer actually was. The story is predictable but I still found myself hooked, wanting to keep reading. There is an element of supernatural but it flows well into the story. I loved the ending and found this a quick but great read.

Book is not on the site but it's by Anita Anderson.
This was so good. I found myself reading it quickly and enjoying the story. The plot was steady and built well to a dramatic show down. I had a feeling I knew who the killer was but it was a clever ending. I loved the hint of supernatural that follows this story and of course the romance.

This was a really good first book in the series. The story was interesting and developed well. It picked up towards the end and had quite a few dramatic moments. The ending was good and I'm curious to know what will happen next. Regan is an interesting lead, shes not perfect in the slightest which makes her much more likeable. She has her flaws and issues but she grows through the story. I think I loved Gray the most though.
