Mehso-so

Kiley Reid‘s debut is definitely #BookClubWorthy as it touches on many important, topical issues, but other than that, I was not impressed. It has a good premise but I could not sympathise or connect with the characters, not wowed by the writing style, and the dialogues were awful. It‘s difficult to review a book which has good intentions, and great message, but I‘m in the minority because there‘s so much Litsy love. 🤷‍♀️

Cinfhen I gave it a so-so too and almost a pan! It didn‘t deserve any of the hype, in my opinion. But I guess we are in the minority 🤷🏼‍♀️ 4y

MyNamesParadise I‘m almost finished Such a Fun Age and I feel the same way! I don‘t see where it was worth the hype, even though it touches on important topics. I feel the execution was just off. I plan on giving it a so-so and I was put off by dialogue as well. 4y
