Librariana I kinda gave up on the series after the second or third book. See! I can't even remember which one! I was very disappointed in the movie for The Lightning Thief as well 😔 7y

stargazerblue49 @librariana AHHHHH! Percy and his adventures are what filled the HP hole in my heart and I love them sooo much! The movies, on the other hand, I could do without. Or with a good remake. That stays true to the books. 😬 7y

monkeygirlsmama I watched one of the Percy Jackson movies years ago, maybe this one. Wasn't impressed. My daughters have never gotten into the book series and I haven't read them either. I probably will at some point, but the movie certainly didn't inspire me to. Haha 7y

monkeygirlsmama @stargazerblue49 Nah, I definitely won't. 9 times out of 10 I think the movie adaptations always suck. 😄So, while this movie didn't inspire me to read the books it won't deter me either. I just, up to this point, haven't had a general interest. I was the same with HP though, and now only just reading the series for the first time and loving it. So, I suspect I might do the same about PJ. Haha 7y
