I did not see this coming. It doesn‘t get more disputable than this. To think, I thought Mollie‘s husband was one of the few good guys in this whole thing.

GingerAntics @Weaponxgirl I did not see this one coming. So if he kills Mollie next, he gets all the money from her estate and the rights to any future money. I thought he was a great, open minded, progressive guy. Now I want to castrate him with a drum stick. (edited) 6y
Gezemice Hmm, you might want to put this under a spoiler tag, because I did not see it coming either... and it blew my mind. How could they do this to the mother of their children? 6y
GingerAntics @Gezemice right? Although, later in the book you find out just how much control his despicable uncle has over him. 6y

Weaponxgirl @GingerAntics it‘s always the fucking husband! I don‘t even know how you could watch someone you were meant to love suffer so much loss. How heartless do you have to be? 6y
GingerAntics @Weaponxgirl I think it was more greed than anything? Greed and prejudice, probably. Notice if these crimes had been committed against another white person they would have been sentenced to death (something I‘m against for a whole slew of other reasons), but since it was against a native person, it was life in prison...and even then he was out in 6 years. That‘s such BS. No one saw these victims as people and that‘s disgusting. 6y
Weaponxgirl @GingerAntics I‘m against it too but the injustice of a jury saying that killing so many First Nations people isn‘t worth one white life stung. 6y
GingerAntics @Weaponxgirl exactly 6y
