GingerAntics @Weaponxgirl that was sort of alluded to. Hoover was happy they‘d gotten the results they did, so why stir up more trouble? It‘s just better to pretend they got the guys responsible and move on. 6y

This just blew my mind. This is beyond heartbreaking. How can a father actively seek to kill his own children and wife? It‘s disgusting, especially when you consider that he didn‘t serve anywhere near his “life” term in prison.

GingerAntics @Weaponxgirl I think it was more greed than anything? Greed and prejudice, probably. Notice if these crimes had been committed against another white person they would have been sentenced to death (something I‘m against for a whole slew of other reasons), but since it was against a native person, it was life in prison...and even then he was out in 6 years. That‘s such BS. No one saw these victims as people and that‘s disgusting. 6y
