A rare DNF for me. I really wanted to like this one, and expected to, but I was finding all of the various voices in this collection of connected short stores to be the same, and even as I was reading my mind kept drifting. Life‘s too short to stick with a book you don‘t feel engaged with.

Did someone say #Readathon? Not sure how much reading I will get done, as I‘m busy tomorrow, at work Monday, a funeral 😔 Tuesday and visiting my parents for the first time since Christmas for their 60th Wedding Anniversary for the rest of the week, but I will try and get through as much of the pictured books as possible.

Andrew65 Good luck with whatever reading time you get. Some good book choices. 4y

That moment when the last book you finished runs directly into the book you just started. The war on drugs is completely and entirely different for people of color than for white people. This is the third time I‘ve seen it said in print (that I recall). This is why I‘m angry about social injustices, among other reasons.
