pickThis is certainly a much different version of events, a much different story than what was presented in Catholic school and by my devoutly Irish Catholic grandmother. Honestly, if my grandmother had actually known about some of these things, she would have explained them away or seen it as Catholic persecution. Sadly, this is how most people will take this entire book.

The evidence here is sometimes sparse because of the short nature of this book. I would have loved a longer book with the proper evidence Hitchens is known for digging up. 10mo
