Well this is a first. I'm about half way through this book, and all of a sudden there is a disclaimer about the horrors to come. Probably shouldn't read any further since I'm about to go to sleep, lol. But I'm intrigued... #extremehorror

Bookwomble Ooh, it's like the warning at the beginning of James Whale's 1931 Frankenstein movie! 😄 13mo

About to get my Monster on! #extremehorror #horrorbooks

phantomx I didn't find Matt Shaw's first book too frightening, I've read a bit of his other works, but they don't seem to spark much of an interest for me. However, what do you find most interesting in Shaw's writing style in horror? 6y
JaySigler I've only read one other by him and liked Monster better. I'm still formulating an opinion :) 6y
phantomx Returning back to read Shaw's first book, I'm compelled to read his other books, especially Monster. Are there any hardcore horror novels (or general horror novels) you recommend to read? 6y
JaySigler I enjoy Tim Miller and Shaun Hupp - I've read a few by each of them and they are pretty hardcore. In general, I've been getting into Laymon a bit more and want to check out J.F. Gonzalez (Survivor specifically). 6y
