Had a great time on a panel with Deanna Raybourn at the George Mason University #FallFortheBook festival, discussing Historical Female Detectives. Both of us advocated strongly for more diverse & inclusive historical fiction -- so many stories out there that our high school history textbooks neglected! Failed to get a picture of us together, but at least I got one of our books.

I've signed many, many copies of my books, but never on the cover before! But a lovely teacher who drove four hours (!!) to yesterday's #fallforthebook festival in Fairfax, VA, displays her signed books face-out in her classroom, so, makes sense.
