This series from Christopher Fowler is such fun... Two detectives past retirement age that are tasked with solving "peculiar crimes". Engaging and well-written. #faveaugustread

Pickpick

My favourite read for August (and my first Virginia Woolf) was Mrs Dalloway. I became a little Bloomsbury-obsessed along the way and read a few other books about the group (this was one of the best). #somethingforsept #faveaugustread

KVanRead I love it when a book leads me to read other books on the author or topic! 8y
RealLifeReading Love it! 8y
LeahBergen @KVanRead Me, too! And I *cough* MAY have another book about the topic on order right now 😉 8y

RealLifeReading Oops meant to not hit send yet. Wanted to add that there's this adorable picture book called Virginia Wolf that's loosely based on her relationship w her sister Vanessa 8y
KVanRead @LeahBergen Ha! Happens to me all the time! It does cause #TBRproblems, though. 8y
LeahBergen @RealLifeReading Ooo! Thanks. I'll check it out! 8y
BookishFeminist I've been really curious about this one! Books that add to my TBR are awesome books. 👍🏼 8y
shawnmooney You're probably already well aware of it, but if not I highly recommend The Hours as a post-Mrs. Dalloway read… 8y
LeahBergen @BookishFeminist I think so, too! 8y
LeahBergen @shawnmooney Oh, I loved The Hours! ❤️ 8y
