Put in a lot of miles in on the treadmill thanks to this book. The narrator does an excellent job with a great story. There are always a lot of characters to keep track of and keep straight, but somehow with this book it was easy. #february2019

It‘s Freedom To Read Week in Canada. I did some research and headed to the Chapters to buy a couple of frequently banned or challenged books. I came home with this one and The Hate U Give. This book is SO good! So, so good! #freedomtoreadweek 🇨🇦 #february2019

I don‘t know if it‘s me, winter, a severe case of cabin fever, me being super picky, or the book. But...ugh. I just never got into it. There was no real chemistry between the two main characters, I didn‘t understand what happened at the end, there were unanswered questions, and...it just wasn‘t for me. #february2019

I‘m not sure about a romantic suspense which begins with the main male character kidnapping and terrorizing the main female character...😬 I shouldn‘t act surprised, after all I did read the blurb and I‘ve read other books by Brown. But now that I‘ve started it, I‘m regretting buying it. #february2019

I enjoyed this book. I‘d give it a solid 3 ⭐️. I liked the characters (and there were quite a few), the glimpse into gaming culture, the magical element as well as a post apocalyptic subplot. That said, I didn‘t feel like I got enough of any of those things as there was so much going on. #february2019

This one started out slow for me, also I‘m not a gamer, but it‘s picking up speed and I‘m really starting to enjoy it! #february2019

Another book by another author friend! This one is a mystery and the main protagonist is a travel writer. Some shenanigans are happening on an Alaskan cruise and the daily dinner menus are making me hungry! #february2019
