In this book, he was able to turn around a character from #mygrandmotheraskedmetotellyoushessorry that I disliked immensely into someone to rally for. Peppered with Backman‘s trademark humor and wisdom, #brittmariewashere is a beautiful story about courage, self-worth, living, and passion. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

One is about loss and acceptance of it while growing up, while the other is about self-worth and discovering independence.
