so-soFinished this audio book. The booktuber suggested it saying there were spooky sounds but I didn‘t hear any. there doesn‘t seem to be another edition of the audiobook. As for the book it was alright, felt like it was a bit stale in parts and is so different from the movie, I kept picturing them as the actors from the 1999 movie. Did everyone else enjoy this?

allureofbeauty @Geeklet I knew it was nothing like the Netflix tv show but I didn‘t realize how vastly different it would feel than the 99 movie. I‘ve only seen the original movie once eons ago and I can‘t speak for that. But yea I couldn‘t shake that movie out of my head while reading it either. Kind of want to rewatch it now. 5y
