Tuesdays with Morrie | Mitch Albom
Pickpick

to live with intention, compassion, and depth. Every conversation between Morrie and Mitch felt like a reminder that meaning isn‘t found in success, flesh, or the material; but in the love we give, the time we share, and the moments we truly feel alive. This book didn‘t just inspire me, it helped me rediscover what it means to live.

I won this book on goodreads. It is a updated book on chicken little. The pictures are large and nice and the story is interesting. C and Cassian really enjoyed it as a story before dinner tonight.

Dare I say that parts of this memoir were a little…boring? I was expecting something a little different from a final ‘lecture‘, but I‘ll read just about anything from someone who is dying, because I think there‘s a unique perspective and story for each individual experience. (Therefore, I don‘t regret reading it). I‘ve known two other people with this diagnosis and each life was very different. In reading this, I honor their memory.

A memoir rather than a traditional biography, but nonetheless a great story about an amazing man. I read this when I was in college over 20 years ago and felt compelled to revisit Morrie. Mitch Albom is a great story teller and the way he captures Morrie‘s warmth and wisdom makes it feel like you‘re sitting in the room with them. Book #29 in 2025

Elbow Grease | John Cena

4 ⭐This book is fantastic. It sounds like John Cena if I‘m beginning to end. It‘s a story about always trying your hardest and that it‘s OK to be different. I love that one of the monster trucks is electric, which is what makes them different from the others but yeah, there‘s still this message of family. This book feels like the author and like someone who spends a lot of time with children.

A story of living a life to its fullest with love and compassion, even while dying. Author Mitch Albom‘s life takes an unexpected turn when he finds out his favorite college professor is dying of ALS. What was initially a singular visit turns into weekly flights from Detroit to Boston to capture his old professor‘s last lecture on life🤍.

Obviously a bit tear provoking but such good sentiments and reminders to us of what matters in life.
