Pickpick

Meik Wiking is obsessed with candles and it made me want to place more around my house. That part is a bit repetitive, I think he mentions candles in almost every chapter (or at least in 12 out of 14). But this book made me happy. Now every time I'm cuddled up in a blanket reading, or watching TV or playing board games with my family, I have a word to describe the feeling it gives me: hygge. I'm going to strive for more "hyggeligt" moments.

Mynameisacolour This book caused me to buy many candles and a really nice lamp 🤣🤣🤣 15h
jen_the_scribe @Mynameisacolour I can imagine! I already added some to my Amazon wishlist lol 14h
JacqMac I bought a large amount of candles after this one, too. But they really do help with the dark and cold days. 12h

@Chrissyreadit You are too sweet!! Thank you! I must make that cozy reading day - complete with socks! - happen soon! (Two sewer back ups in one week make it extra needed 🙄🤪🤣)

I love the bookmark design!

Chrissyreadit Ugh!! Sewer problems! You do need a cozy day. 1w
TheAromaofBooks Oh no to the sewer issues! Sometimes it's just one of THOSE weeks! Hope next week is better!! ❤ 1w
mabell @Chrissyreadit @TheAromaofBooks It‘s definitely been one of those weeks! Hopefully the issues are resolved, and we can start next week fresh 🤞 1w

My #Bookoutlethaul has FINALLY arrived. Now I can send out my #Jolabokaflodswap 📦 out in the morning. I was white knuckling it.
In other news, it also had my two cozy books in it. 😁

Avanders Always nice to add some cozy to the TBR 😊 1mo

COZY READING NOOK 📚 for #FestivePhotoChallenge

Our study doesn't have the best lighting but it's got the basics of relaxation: a well-worn leather couch, a window with a view, and wall bookshelves nearby. Even though I don't read there much because I need a better light source to read by, it's still very cozy and inviting. In fact, it's my Dad's favorite napping spot in the house 😌

#TIL about the origin of hygge- the original word in Norwegian means well-being. Hygge might originate from hug that comes from hugge whatcha means “to embrace”. Hugge May have originated from the Old Norse hygga which means “to comfort” which comes from the Germanic hugjan. #NFNov

Instead of it being smart to own something, it has become smart to know something.
