Really enjoying the “A Never After” series. Book 2 complete and ready to dive in to number three. Loved the Hamlet references used in this book…and the ending!

This is the fractured fairy tale of The Lion King. It‘s definitely NOT a fairy tale and the only resemblance to the Lion King is Prince Tristan, who has a scar on his face given to him by his brother. This is an erotic romance: READER DISCRETION ADVISED. #SeriesLove2024 @TheSpineView @Andrew65

From BookTok sensation Emily McIntire comes a dark and delicious fractured fairy tale in her fan-favorite Never After series.

Not a lot of reading today because I was seeing a matinee of The Lion King. It‘s been years since I‘d seen the show and the production was just as impressive as the first time. I love the way it uses puppetry to tell the story.

This is a retelling of The Lion King. Tristin‘s father dies. His brother, Michael, wants to take the throne, so Tristin starts a rebellion. Sara B‘s betrothed to Michael, but plans to take down the kingdom. Her & Tristin‘s plans aren‘t the only things they have in common. Will they be able to resist each other?

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is my favorite of the series so far. I liked the characters, the plot, and the spice & story balance.

Name a better Disney movie than The Lion King? It's Shakespeare with music and fur!

"Scarred" is a slow burn dark romance, which is a twist of "The Lion King" or "Hamlet". The main character & morally grey man is (you guessed it).... SCAR.
Now, Scar is my all time favourite villain. He is witty, sassy & pure evil. Tristan was ? but the book just missed something. I loved the Lion King references, but I found Sara bland. Her POV was tedious.
