Here we go. Over 600 pages of magical, literary fiction It's been a while since I last read Byatt but that feeling is still there. In fact she is one of my favourite authors. The beauty and richness of her writing is unmistakable. #asbyatt #literaryfiction #longread

Have to finish this by tomorrow afternoon for the book club that I run ? it was our "long book for reading over the summer" selection so of course I started it a week before we meet.

It seems like EVERYONE is reading The Secret History this month, very cool! ?

Cinfhen We meet on Wednesday! Our #longread for the summer was 7y
DivineDiana My Book Club meets tomorrow too! We had two for the summer. Luckily, I had already read one (but I remember very little) and I am frantically turning the pages of A Gentleman in Moscow! 7y
missevievelyn @Cinfhen @DivineDiana Aaaaa so many book clubs!!! Delightful! 😊I hope you both finish your books and have a great time! 7y
Cinfhen I finished the other day @missevievelyn It was fascinating, but a little too thorough and comprehensive...How's Gentleman @DivineDiana our book club is reading that one in December 😉 7y
DivineDiana @Cinfhen I like it! He is an erudite author as is the Count! My husband did NOT like when I mentioned that his behavior was not "Countlike". He said, angrily, "I've had enough of the Count because you are always going to compare me with him! " My other Book Club has also chosen it for a later date. (edited) 7y

When your internet goes out at work and you work at a web consultant that does all work on the cloud, you read the giant book you're slowly working on in your Kindle. #longread #popsugar2017

Good morning littens! To start off this chilly Friday morning I wanted to share one of the quotes that has stuck with me after finishing Moby Dick this year. #fridayquotes #longread #bestof2016 #thewhitewhale.

"To enjoy bodily warmth, some small part of you must be cold, for there is no quality in this world that is not what it is merely by contrast. Nothing exists in itself."
