🎶🎵Say you'll remember me standing in a nice dress
Staring at the sunset, babe
Red lips and rosy cheeks
Say you'll see me again
Even if it's just in your wildest dreams, ah-ha

I stayed up late to finish The Odyssey, so I‘ve had a late start to #24in48 today. I loved this translation, and it was very easy to read despite me never reading poetry. Now off to read some comics!
The tagged book is a retelling of The Iliad and The Odyssey from Helen‘s perspective. @kgriffith I think you‘ll love it!
"I flew back to Troy." Reading one of my favorite historical fiction writers--Margaret George.
I had to think all day on this one. My shelves just do not have characters I thought fit. Then, I remembered I read this book ages ago. I'm not even sure what happened to my copy. (9 years, 2 moves, and a move almost halfway across the country will do that, I suppose).
Considering the war she incited, I'd think Helen would be a #BlondeBombshell. #Characters2017 @LibrarianRyan

The Odyssey books are my hubby's, but the Helen of Troy book I just recently found and am excited to start!
After a day of marathon #audiopuzzling, I finally finished this #longread. Very well written and researched. Loved it!! Now on to Shogun! #longread for March (does long read count if you are listening to it?)
Margaret George never disappoints. This is gorgeously written and so engrossing. Like all her other books, well researched and a thoroughly enjoyable read.
Historical fiction at its best. If you even somewhat enjoyed Troy then you should enjoy this. Huge fan Margaret George's writing. Beautifully told story!
