Happy Saturday ? Thank you for all the birthday wishes last week! I turned 29 and celebrated with a trip to the bookstore and one too many espresso martinis. ?Our house is cleared out from all the festivities and Thanksgiving guests, and I can say we successfully hosted for the first time! Now I'm ready to cozy up with an interesting new book while all the dishes still "soak". ?
A great introduction into a rapidly expanding field of research and application. Who knew that plants NEEDED bacteria, fungi, nematodes, and protozoa to thrive? Time to set aside all the dangerous chemicals and team up with the soil food web. Nobody ever fertilized an old growth forest.s
Recommended by so many gardeners. Let's read it.
This is the second time I‘ve listened to this audiobook, and it was just as fascinating as the first time!

Fascinating!! And though I listened closely to the audiobook, I know so much didn‘t stick in my brain, but what did has altered the way I look at the world! What a great way for the average (non scientific) reader to learn about how bacteria has shaped life on this planet! This would be a great pick for #NaturaLitsy too. Love Ed Yong!
Utterly fascinating. I never knew I needed a book about microbes but this was so informative and easy to comprehend. Highly recommend.
