pickSo proud of my eldest son who is working on the Little Fella Yarns project with the Western Australian State Library. A part of the Better Beginnings early literacy program, these book packs are given out to parents of Aboriginal babies in regional WA. The packs are being rejuvenated & my son is the project officer. I‘ve been asking him to bring me home a pack, and today he finally did! This is one of the awesome books in it ❤️🖤💛👶🏽📚👏.
On Wednesdays I take my littlest to the library whilst his big brother is at story writing club. They always have a communal puzzle anyone can help with, and today Fox decided he could help. I always feel so lucky when I‘m in a library. We also read the tagged book which was a lot of fun 😊

I would love to use this book in my future classroom. With current curriculums I feel it's hard to find time in the day to provide students with meaningful science lessons. This book would do just that and encourage children to be curious. Great opportunity to also tie in STEM content.
