Didn‘t feel as well paced as the previous 2. As even the book states, some things aren‘t funny and should be serious. Like the dress code for girls or that students who can‘t pay can‘t go on field trips. So Olive decides to go against her friends to fix it. I liked how the questioning showed between them all. Well written spaces for this topic. Like Olives aunt encouraging protests and mom says stay out of trouble. Good library time.

Beautifully illustrated, this book is really about a child named Tybre Faw who was so inspired by John Lewis and how their friendship was formed. Truly an #everybodybook younger children would need a lot of support to understand the content, but there's plenty of time for that. Any child could relate to the admiration Faw has for Lewis.

I wanted more from this. It is a cute little story, but I found the back matter so much more interesting. I was hoping this was a biography on how the symbol came to be. But if you are using this at story time or something, all the relevant information gets lost because it is at the back and not in the story. As said before, this could have been better.

Technically not book related but I HAD TO SHARE!!! Because I love Kap! And it‘s VEGAN and everything is right in my world for just this moment!!!! Please let it be available in WV !!!!!2021 bringing some good (along with Inauguration Day of course) 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 also, the tagged book sounds good!
