pickI selected this one for my #readhawaii challenge. I personally loved this one but I‘m a total fan of a good romance. This is set in November 1941 and the storyline runs through the bombing of Pearl Harbor. This is as much a story of friendship and female resilience as a romance. #romantsy

so-so⭐️⭐️⭐️ read. This is part of my #readhawaii and the book focuses on the nurses who were there when Pearl Harbor was attacked. Having been to see the monument and visiting Hickman AFB I was able to picture a lot. #hawaii

This book totals over 1,000 pages so be prepared for a lengthy read. But it‘s well worth the time and effort. Historic fiction at its best. #readhawaii #mayreading
