Richard Laymon's Night In Lonesome October

Starting this one tonight. I have repurposed this Prince Albert can to hold my lens cleaning wipes. I wish all my Litsy friends a good evening and happy reading!
Thank you so much @catiewithac for the wonderful #AllHallowsReadSwap package! I‘m so eager to dive into both books and I can already tell that they will be frequently borrowed once they make their way to my classroom library! Thank you so much for everything!! 👻🎃🧟♂️💀
After finishing The Beast House series, I'm continuing on with Richard Laymon. I'm sure he's not for everyone, but I seem to be enjoying his work. Maybe I'm a little kooky myself.
I've been feeling cruddy for a while. Wheezing and not sleeping well. Turns out I have bronchitis. My wife finally made me go to the doc yesterday. After a steroid shot and and an albuteral inhaler, I feel like a million bucks this morning. I should have listened to her and went a long time ago.
Lounging with a bowl of Prince Albert, whilst reading The Midnight Tour. Book no. 3 in the series. Happy reading my Litsy friends.
Starting book #2 of The Beast House Chronicles. I enjoyed the first one. Be warned however, that Laymon is very graphic. To coincide with the mythical Beast, I have decided to pack myself a bowl of Loch Ness this morning. Happy reading friends!
My first post here on Litsy. I'm trying to read as much as I can these days and I'm proud of my progress this year. I am sitting down with a pipe filled with Distinguished Gentleman and reading Richard Laymon's The Cellar. It's my first Laymon novel. Let me know what you think of him. I might read the whole Beast House series for the month of October.
Alice has quite a story to tell. That's not her real name. She couldn't give you her real name, not after the things she reveals about herself in this book. All of her adventures and the killing. She wouldn't want the police to find her, now would she?
First Laymom novel & color me intrigued over impressed on this one. It's long w/ dragging spots but had me wanting to see how it all would end up. I'd still read another Laymon so we'll see. 2.5/5
