This pains me. I loved these characters in the first book. Love them in the second. But what I really miss was storyline and more character development. There is another in the series but at this point I'm doubtful I'll invest in picking it up. This is a spicy read and did have its moments but I'm greedy and I want it all. In true Kristi Fashion I've started this series with the last book. Because you know why figure out which came first. 1) I'm happy to report this reads as a strong standalone. 2) I manged to cry.
