pickLong Live the Pumpkin Queen by Shea Ernshaw was my first full read of 2023. The writing is pretty and unique, perfect for Sally and Halloween Town. I‘ve always loved Sally (hence the costume I handmade), and enjoyed this story that featured her as the protagonist. I want to read more stories in her point-of-view.
