Overweight people who have not yo-yo dieted are shockingly free of these symptoms. Unfortunately, most overweight people have yo-yo dieted because society and doctors tell them to. Here's another dirty little secret: only 5-10% of dieters kept the weight off at the 3 year mark (this is also true for weight loss surgery). 5y
