#TenBeforeTheEnd
One book DNF'd, one unavailable in time (Gilead), one about half done (Rivers of London) and 7 finished and enjoyed. Not bad!

Woohoo!🙌🏽 My last book for #TenBeforeTheEnd is done! I really liked it after a bit of a slow start. Another book I‘m so happy to have finally read off my shelf. Thanks so much @ChaoticMissAdventures for a great challenge! Let‘s do it again next year! 😉🎉
Book 9 for my #TenBeforeTheEnd and one I‘ve had on my shelf since it was long listed for the Women‘s Prize years ago. An entertaining tale based on true events in a whaling community in 1908. The main character Mary is funny and the writing had me laughing out loud a few times. Glad I finally read it!
Ahh I‘m so close to finishing #tenbeforetheend!
But both of the books I have left are real chunksters! 835 and 509 pages! I don‘t know if I can finish either in 5 days!
The fall of Troy told by the women most impacted: Andromache, Helen, Cassandra, and Rhea.
Intense! & also part 2 of a duology!😅 I was familiar enough with Troy to know the general set up, so I didn‘t really feel lost jumping in the middle. Everyone‘s stories balanced nicely, & there was an element of hope throughout, even as you know the tragedy that is coming. Also, always love a Greek retelling that validates my Paris sucks belief.🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑
Oof. One of the more disturbing books I‘ve read. The writing is incredible and I can see how it won the Booker, but wow. It was too much for me. My book 8 for #TenBeforeTheEnd as I‘ve had this copy since it won in 2020 and have put off reading it since then.
#TenBeforeTheEnd progress is better than I would have thought when I created my original line up. Planning on finding more audiobook time because I‘ve got just under 10 hours to go on tagged book. 14 hours if I need to drop my speed. Audiocooking requires a slower speed for me. I don‘t think it will take me long to read Bookshops & Bonedust, so I think I‘m actually going to finish this challenge, which makes me feel great about wrapping up 2024.
