A much nicer Valentine's Day read! Denz runs into the man who broke his heart in college, just when he needs a fake relationship to prove he's serious enough to take over his father's party planning company. I enjoyed his twitterpated pining and the big wacky cast of family and friends, plus there's a nice growth arc for him. If you yearn for romcoms with black and queer characters, this was literally written for you.

pickGood twist on the origin story for a haunted house. 4 horror authors spend a night in the house for a podcast publicity stunt, changing their lives forever. Sometimes repetitive, but I had to keep turning the pages! Overall a good read.

I just found out about the #valentinesdayreadathon. I‘ve decided that I want to participate in it. My only goal is to finish this romance book series that I started reading this week. This is a bad boy romance series. It‘s a romance between a race car driver and a nurse. I‘m enjoying it so far. I‘m now reading the 3rd and final book. If I end up finishing this book series before the end of the readathon then I‘ll start another book.
Starting my #ValentinesDayReadathon by finishing this one up today. I‘d like to read 300 pages by the end of the weekend. It‘s gonna be rainy and cold here so it shouldn‘t be a problem.

So my goal is to finish at least one book this weekend. Probably not the tagged, I am enjoying this one but, for me, it is a little slower moving than the others in the series.
